Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley may be more accustomed to walking down the catwalk but in her latest fashion shoot she is walking a green poodle to celebrate Green Thing's one-year anniversary.

Famed for her Burberry fashion campaign, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was shot by the renowned music photographer, Dean Chalkley who has photographed everyone from Scarlett Johansson to the Kings of Leon. The result is an iconic image that encapsulates "Walk the Walk", one of Green Thing's 7 easy ideas for living a greener life.
Green Thing is the not for profit public service that encourages individuals to lead a greener life by taking small green steps to make big environmental changes. Powered by creativity, Green Thing works with a growing community of highly respected artists, writers, musicians, photographers and film directors to make each month's green thing easy and entertaining.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, commented: "I have been looking for ways to make my life greener but I felt overwhelmed by all the information out there and deciding what were the best steps to take. Green Thing offers really simple actions, delivered in a really fun way that can make a huge difference. I am certainly going to start integrating these into my everyday life."
Since launch, Green Thing has reached over 2.1 million people from 170 countries worldwide and helped save in excess of 3.4m KGs of CO2. The not for profit public service is endorsed by many respected environmental thinkers on both sides of the Atlantic including: Nobel Peace laureate, Professor Wangari Maathai; Cathy Zoi, CEO of Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection and Alex Steffen of Worldchanging.com.
"Walk the Walk" is just one of its seven actions to help lead a greener lifestyle:
