Piers Morgan and aspiring 'green queen' Konnie Huq go 'green' to reveal the UK's top one hundred 'green-agers', who have been hand selected to take part in npower's Climate Cops programme designed to inspire eleven to thirteen year old students to turn their passion for the environment into action.
Hundreds of schools across the UK entered the npower Climate Cops Programme with a short film about their Green SOS - a project which they wanted to implement in their local community to improve their environment.
Ten schools were chosen as finalists and attended the Climate Cops Green SOS Academy in London, a bespoke workshop designed to give practical tips and tricks on how the schools can turn their idea into reality.
The following film entry is from Penrice Community College in Cornwall. They are concerned that houses in their neighbourhood don't have numbers, resulting in taxis, delivery vans and members of the public wasting petrol while they try to find a particular house. The Penrice Green Team is going to solve this problem by designing house numbers for the local area and lobbying the local community to introduce the new system.
The 10 finalist school teams will submit a final film showing their progress early next year and the winning school will win £20K towards green measures within their school.
