Yahoo! user Dodgy-Parrot posted an interesting comment in response to a recent Environmental Graffiti post on recycled bags, so we decided to investigate.
Morsbags is a international grassroots movement formed with the aim of making and distributing as many free cotton bags as possible: each one designed to eliminate the use of 100s of plastic bags over its lifetime. Groups, called 'pods' meet all over the world to co-ordinate the production of these bags, and sounds like they have a jolly good time to boot.
If you'd like to learn how to make your own morsbag, set up your own 'pod' or see which celebs they've recruited, check out their website at www.morsbags.com and find your local campaign.
The Morsbag movement estimates that over 1.5m plastic bags have been saved through their distributions already - keep up the good work!
